We are half way through 2008 and having a really busy time with new projects and ideas. Blairgowrie is such a beautiful part of Scotland and we have made so many friends here.  We couldnt think of living and working anywhere else now.  The berryfields around us are busy with the raspberry and strawberry season in full swing

Roys workshop is now fully operational with extra equipment and it looks like it might need rubber walls!   We still have a fair amount of weeds in the garden but the flowers and vegetables are beginning to take over.  If we can just find a moment to use the camera we can probably photograph the workshop and surrounding garden.

Our cottage is still in need of lots of attention but at least is now painted the traditional black and white instead of blue and yellow, so some small progress has been made, but as always beads and glass come first!

The sunrise every morning from our kitchen window is still as stunning as ever and we quite often see families of rabbits and hares and also the occasional deer

Our venture for the new century is keeping us both really busy and in the glass studio Roy is making individual glass beads by the lampworking method and unique signed lampworked and fused glass pendants, also other fused glass work.

The jewellery that you see on the site is made in my workshop in the house which bulges with boxes of antique and vintage beads and findings that I use to make up our individual pieces.

We both hope you enjoy your visit to the website
